BARA: A couple was killed in a motorcycle accident at Pathlaiya-Birgunj road section on Friday afternoon.
The deceased are Sanjiv Simkhada, 24, from Ramechhap and his wife Bimala Thapa, 22, said the Central Region Traffic Police Office Pathlaiya.
A truck (Na 3 Kha 6419) coming from the opposite direction hit their motorcycle (Ja 1 Pa 5022) at Rampur Tokani-3 of Bara district, according to the police.
Following the accident, police have arrested the driver and impounded the truck, it is learnt. RSS
