Kathmandu : Nineteen contests battled for the crown of Miss Nepal 2014 on May 2 at the Army Officers’ Club and it was Subin Limbu who won the crown. For the 23-year-old beauty winning the title of Miss Nepal World 2014 is a dream come true.
“I still can’t believe that this crown is on my head. It is a dream. It is a treasure for me,” she shared after her win. She hopes “to do justice to the glory of the prestigious crown of Miss Nepal”.
The Top five contestants were asked, ‘Suppose you win this competition today, how can you help and
mobilise diverted Nepali youth for generating better employment within Nepal itself?’

And the answer that she gave impressed not only the judges but the audience too. “Being Miss Nepal is a prestigious figure.
That is the first step by millions of Nepali people and due to this I would strongly advocate and disseminate that Nepal is a gold mine. If utilised properly, we can create a change and change for all those youth who can optimise resources be it nature, water or intelligence. Jai Nepal!” she answered.
Sonie Rajbhandari was crowned Miss Nepal International 2014, while Prinsha Shrestha won the title of Miss Nepal Earth 2014. — HNS
