Kathmandu : Indian singer Mika Singh is definitely going to rock the Valley. And the renowned performer and playback singer of Bollywood will make the Valley dance to his tunes on March 2 at Sano Gaucharan at the ‘Mika Singh Live in Nepal’ concert.
The news was confirmed at a press meet organised by Moonlight Records on February 21 at Shangri~La Hotel & Resort.
“The songs of Mika Singh is popular among children and adults alike. And he is also curious to come to Nepal,” Executive Chairman of Moonlight Records Chandra Prakash Sharma said. Sharma’s company has organised many concerts in the US and he wants to continue with a big concert here.
Singh will be arriving in Nepal on March 1.
And Sharma promises “a qualitative concert”. “Mika Singh Live in Nepal is going to be an exclusive show. We want to make it the best show with good security and sound system.”
Their initial plan was to organise a big show in Tundikhel with cheaper tickets. Sano Gaucharan is the changed venue from Tundikhel due to several reasons. The new venue has the capacity to hold 10,000 people. And the organisers say they have left space to dance for the audience too.
Singh will perform his popular numbers as well as songs like Sawan Me Lagae Aag from his first album. He will start the show at 6:30 pm.
As per Sharma, the opening acts for Mika Singh Live in Nepal they are trying to rope in 1974 AD, Ram Krishna Dhakal and Aastha Raut.
The tickets are priced Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000. The Himalayan Times is the official print meadia partner. HNS :
