Nepathya never fails to charm

30th, Dec 2013

Kathmandu : Pedestrians walking through narrow lane on the roads of Patan and vehicles honking were enough for one to guess that something big was happening in the area. Throng of people moving around, pushing each other to get a glimpse of the stage and reach near it was a scene to watch at Patan Durbar Square on December 29.

We must preserve these and live in unity for a better future,” Gurung expressed. He also appealed for the violence-free playgrounds for children. With so much happening, how can a concert end without some patriotic songs? Mero Desh Mero Desh and Gaun Gaun Bata Utha were the numbers that imbibed everyone with patriotic feeling.

And then the moment Gham Dubyo Saanjh Paryo Chhutne Bela Bho was sung, the message was clear. But how could the audience let go without their favourite Resham and Taalko Paani being played? Gurung on vocal, Dhruba Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Rayamajhi on madal and Suraj Thapa on piano were ready to cater... — HNS :
